The Cuillin Ridge, Skye

Britain's premier mountaineering challenge!
The Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye provides exciting and dramatic scrambling terrain, exceptionally unique in both quality and quantity. It offers 11 ruggedly beautiful Munro peaks, often a nemesis for hill-walkers due to the exposure, complex terrain, and difficult route finding.
I offer 1:1 and 1:2 guiding on the ridge, meaning I will take care of all logistics and your safety, and you can purely focus on enjoying the incredible journey. With over ten years experience on the Cuillin Ridge, current female record holder for a fast winter traverse and previous record holder during summer, I know the ridge intricately and you can be assured you are in safe hands.
Read on to find out more about your options for tackling the Cuillin Ridge, whether it be as individual days to bag Munro summits, or aspirations for a full traverse!

The Cuillin Munros as Day Trips
£290 per day for 1 person or £320 for 2 people.
This includes harness and helmet hire
The 11 Munros on the Cuillin Ridge can usually be acheived over 4 separate day trips, or for many, enjoyed individually. There are many advantages to tackling the Munros as separate outings compared to a full traverse: lighter bags and less time pressure make for a more relaxed journey, with greater opportunity to tackle the exciting “climbing” sections such as King’s Chimney, the TD Gap, and Naismiths Route (often bypassed during travereses); or simply more time for photos and tea!
Perhaps you want to book a single day for a first taste and see how you get on! We could tackle the awesome “Inaccessible Pinnacle” or perhaps a round of the Northern three summits.

A 2-Day Cuillin Traverse
£870 for 1 person or £960 for 2 people, including equipment
Traversing the Cuillin Ridge as a single push is a journey of epic proportions! Remote, sustained and stunningly beautiful, the ridge offers Alpine like terrain with fantasy views across the sea.
A traverse can be acheived over two 8-14 hour days, with an overnight bivi in between. Scrambling experience and a good level of fitness will increase your chance of success. You’re booking covers a three-day window, and we will choose the best two for a traverse. If the weather is too bad to attempt a traverse, then your booking converts to 3 individual days of scrambling / munro bagging.

Single Day Cuillin Traverse
£650 (1:1 only)
Traversing the Cuillin Ridge in a single day is an absolutely huge challenge, requiring a great deal of fitness and endurance, and the ability to move with agility over technical terrain. A successful day traverse is an outstanding achievement for anyone, and certainly a day you will never forget!
Typically the day would last about 14-18 hours, and is best undertaken during the Spring when daylight is on our side!
