Learn to Lead Climb Outdoors
Full day, £240 for 1 or 2 people
Booking 2 days is recommended to achieve independence, if you are already a competent indoor climber

- Loch Duntelchaig (20mins from Inverness)
- Huntleys Cave (15mins from Grantown)
- Alternative locations can be arranged by discussion
Are you ready to take the next steps towards becoming an independent outdoor climber? This day is suitable for those who have already tried outdoor climbing, or those who are confident indoor leaders. The structure of the day will vary depending on your experience and desires, but can include:
- Using guidebooks, choosing routes and “reading” routes
- Climbing etiquette and communication “calls”
- An introduction to trad climbing gear (nuts, cams, slings etc)
- Placing trad climbing gear safely and efficiently
- Building safe anchors to secure yourself and your partner
- Belaying a climber from the top of a climb
- Safe lead belaying skills
- Your first lead climb

Guided Adventure Climbing
Multiple venue options across Scotland
Full day, £260 for 1 person // £290 for 2 people
The mountains and coastlines of Scotland provide endless delights of beautiful, top quality rock climbing in dramatic and untouched landscapes. On our Guided Adventure Climbing Days, we take care of all the leading and logistics allowing you to relax and enjoy the climbing. For those who are interested, this day can also provide an excellent introduction to traditional climbing, as you can learn about gear placements and rope-work.

If you and your friends / family / colleagues fancy trying outdoor rock climbing, we can organise the perfect experience to get your adrenaline pumping! We run half or full day sessions for groups of up to 6 people. We will choose the perfect venue to suit your location , abilities and desires.

Are you ready to take your climbing to the next level? Learning the skills to be able to independently go multi-pitch climbing opens up a world of opportunity. This day is suitable for those who can confidently lead routes of at least grade Diff. The structure of the day will vary depending on your experience and desires, but can include:
- Using guidebooks, choosing routes and “reading” routes
- Climbing etiquette and communication “calls” in a multipitch context
- Building safe anchors for multipitch climbing – slings versus ropes and thinking about directional pulls
- Swapping leads between pitches with smooth and tidy ropework
- Lots of tips and tricks!
